Schedule:
Backup care: M-F 9am-5pm as needed

Babysitting: F/S/Sun 6pm-11pm 1x/week

A caring family in Pittsford, NY is seeking a reliable and flexible nanny to provide backup care for their two children (ages 1 & 3) during sick days and school breaks, as well as a dedicated babysitter for approximately one weekend evening per week. This family would love to work with a provider who is experienced in gentle parenting methods and redirection when needed. This role will involve all traditional childcare-related duties, as well as meal prep as needed. A provider who is reliable, communicative, and experienced in the toddler years will be a perfect fit for this role!

Backup Care:

Provide care for our children from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, as needed.

Be available to step in during sick days or school vacations. This role involves flexibility, as the number of days required can vary from 1 to 3 days per month due to illness and potentially entire weeks during school breaks.

Weekend Babysitting:

Provide babysitting services on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evenings from approximately 6pm to 11pm. The family anticipates needing babysitting once per week, but this could vary.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).

Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Ability to handle flexible scheduling with a positive attitude.

Strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with children.
