A warm family in Williamsville, NY, is seeking an engaging and developmentally-minded nanny to care for their 7-month-old son! Both parents work remotely full-time, and are looking for a caregiver who can independently manage their little ones daily routine with minimal direction. The ideal candidate will be engaging, experienced with infant care, and familiar with the Montessori approach. They would love for their nanny to come prepared with age-appropriate, hands-on activities in mind that will foster the baby’s growth and development over time. Their little one currently loves reading, playing, and is described by his parents as a happy and bright child! Familiarity with safe feeding and sleep practices, as well as bottle preparation and wake windows will be important in this role. This family values outdoor play (even in colder weather), limiting screen time (30 minutes per day max), and taking their child out and about on local adventures to the zoo, parks, or library. The family will provide a vehicle (SUV) for outings once they have formed a trusted relationship with their nanny!
This role includes all traditional childcare related duties, including preparing healthy meals (purees), light tidying, and baby laundry. The family is looking for someone to join their family long-term, who can grow with them as their son enters his toddler years. A compassionate, independent caregiver who loves working with infants and is excited to partner with the family in fostering an environment of growth will be a wonderful fit!
Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First aid certified
Safe and reliable vehicle
Annual Flu shot preferred
Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
