$22-28+/hr based on experience.

These loving and friendly parents are eager to find a calm, knowledgeable, and experienced, long-term nanny/family assistant to help care for their sweet newborn and almost three-year-old! This family consists of one parent who works from home in a dedicated office space, and one stay-at-home parent who is looking for someone to help divide and conquer the challenges of adjusting to life with two littles! Someone who is flexible and able to lend a hand where needed will be appreciated, as each day may look a little different. A candidate with newborn experience who possesses a calm and nurturing demeanor will be a great fit for this family. Knowledge of newborn care and supporting healthy sleep and feeding habits is required. The three-year-old is a sweet, active, funny, shy, and intelligent child who loves playing at the playground, making up silly games, and playing with playdough and monster trucks! He currently receives OT for a sensory processing disorder, and would benefit from a caregiver with special needs experience. A candidate who possesses foundational knowledge of developmental milestones and gentle/respectful caregiving methods will mesh well with the family’s childcare philosophy. This family values a caregiver who plans enriching experiences for the children such as adventures to the library, park, museums, or zoo! Family assistant duties include lending a hand with family meal prep, laundry, tidying children’s areas and living spaces, and occasional grocery shopping or errands. Someone who is an excellent communicator, has a pitch-in spirit, and is excited to support this family will thrive in this role!
