These kind parents are eager to find an experienced, long-term nanny to help care for their sweet newborn! Their newest addition to the family will be approximately 4-months old at the start of care, and the family hopes to find a wonderful and knowledgeable nanny to help them transition to a new routine once both parents are back at work come May. Typical daily responsibilities will include caring for the baby and assisting with child-related tidying, meal/bottle/feeding prep, and laundry, as well as taking their little one out for walks and fresh air. Once the baby is a bit older, the family would love to work with a caregiver who is excited to take the baby to the park or library, or other age-appropriate activities in the community. This family values actively engaging their little one in age-appropriate activities such as reading, music and movement, playtime, and outdoor exploration. A nanny with experience and knowledge of developmental milestones in infants, as well as gentle/respectful caregiving methods will do well in this role. A provider who is knowledgeable about transitioning baby to solids when the time comes will be appreciated! This family enjoys keeping a loose routine, while following baby’s cues, and would love to work with a candidate who is skilled at supporting healthy sleep habits in a gentle and flexible way. Someone who is engaging, kind, and proactive, and who enjoys working with new parents will be an excellent fit for this position!
