Compensation:
$20-25+/hr based on experience.

These friendly and loving parents are excited to partner with an experienced nanny to help care for their two little ones! Care will primarily be focused on the youngest child who will be approximately 10-months old at the start of care, while the older sibling attends school during the day. Afternoon hours will consist of school pickup for the oldest, and care for both children from approximately 2pm-5:15pm. This family values a caregiver who is proactive and engaging, who comes prepared and excited to plan crafts, activities, music and movement time, and spending time outside as weather permits. Engaging the youngest in activities such as reading and narrating daily life that promote early language learning and reaching developmental milestones will be appreciated! This family is eager to work with a provider who is a self-starter and who is happy to lend a hand with light household tasks as time allows. Examples include folding a basket of clean laundry or simply tidying/organizing the children’s areas during downtime. Gentle and respectful caregiving are important to this family, and a candidate who is practiced in these methods will do well in this role. The family would love to work with a nanny who is skilled at fostering a sense of independence in the children, who can encourage picking up after themselves, participating in their own self-care (dressing, feeding, etc.) and other practical life skills. Someone who is an excellent communicator, possesses a pitch-in spirit, and is excited to join the family long-term will be an excellent fit for this position!

Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Experience and knowledge of the infant/toddler stages and developmental milestones
COVID vaccinated
Willing to make a minimum 1-year commitment with a preference for long-term
