This is a full-time position offering 40-45 hours per week. Core hours are M-F 9:30am-4/5pm with some flexibility.

Compensation:
$20-25+/hr based on experience.

This kind and good-humored family in Brighton, NY is looking for a seasoned, communicative full-time nanny for their newborn! The family is awaiting a daycare spot which is anticipated to become available in Spring, 2025. They are offering an end-of-contract retention bonus for the perfect candidate, and will provide ample notice prior to end of care. The family also has a 4-year-old who attends school full-time and will not require care. Experience with all aspects of newborn care is required as well as knowledge of developmental milestones. Familiarity with aspects of newborn sleep such as wake windows and safe sleep practices is a must, as well as comfortability supporting continued breastfeeding, as Mom works from home and would like to continue breastfeeding as long as possible. The family looks forward to partnering with a candidate who possesses excellent communication skills and a good sense of humor! This position includes child-related duties and tidying, and willingness to lend a hand with family laundry and kitchen tidying during baby nap times will be much appreciated. They would love to work with a provider who is excited to engage their baby in developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day, as well as spend time outdoors, weather permitting. Once the baby has had their vaccinations, they look forward to their nanny bringing them on small outings to the local libraries or parks. The family also has a very friendly and well-behaved medium size dog, so comfortability around animals is a must. Ability to commit to the entirety of the contract is important to this family, and they look forward to building a schedule and compensation package that works well for everyone!

Requirements:

2+ years of professional experience

3 professional references

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)

Up-to-date on COVID, Flu, and Tdap vaccines (or willing to be)

Ability to commit to the entirety of the contract dates
