Schedule: M-F 7:30am-3:30pm with some flexibility 

Compensation: $26-32+/h

A warm and welcoming family in East Amherst, NY, is seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to care for their sweet newborn. This family of five includes two older children (3 and 6) who attend full-day school Monday through Friday, and they are seeking a seasoned professional who will be dedicated to nurturing their youngest during work hours. One parent works at a local school and enjoys school breaks and summers off. These loving parents are eager to find the right fit, and are open to both candidates who prefer year-round work, or those that appreciate extra time off during breaks and summer months. The family looks forward to finding a schedule that works well for everyone. If desired, summer care may also involve caring for the older children. The ideal candidate will be consistent, reliable, and committed to building a long-term relationship with the family. As the parents are still discovering their newborn's unique personality and routine, they are looking for someone practiced in newborn care, particularly in fostering healthy sleep and feeding habits. Light meal preparation will be appreciated as the baby grows, including a mix of purees and potentially baby-led weaning. While not required, the family would welcome a provider open to assisting with laundry or light tidying when time permits. A safety-conscious and proactive nanny who is knowledgeable about infant and toddler developmental milestones, and who can foster a warm and nurturing environment as the children grow will be an excellent fit! 

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

CPR/First aid certified

Safe and reliable vehicle

Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
