Schedule: M-Th 1:30pm-6:30pm with opportunities for additional evening, weekend, and travel hours if desired.
Compensation: $25-30+/hour

A welcoming and open-minded family in West Henrietta is seeking a warm and engaging family assistant to join them in supporting their 12-year-old daughter and home! The typical daily schedule will consist of self-directed family assistant duties from 1:30pm-3pm, a 3pm school pickup for their daughter and generally assisting her with homework and afternoon activities. This family describes their daughter as a bright, funny, and creative child who enjoys music, drawing, and has a love for all creatures, great and small! A provider who has experience with special needs, particularly ADHD, and who is comfortable holding kind but firm and consistent boundaries rooted in a connection based approach will be a wonderful fit. This family would love to work with a family assistant who can nurture their daughter’s interests with an emphasis on creating and sustaining a meaningful bond long-term. Their daughter is looking forward to tending to and enlarging her small, front yard garden this spring, so a person who enjoys spending time outdoors will be a welcome companion. Both parents are busy professionals who work from home in dedicated office space, but are available for any questions or needs throughout the day. Family assistant duties include family laundry, light tidying of shared household spaces, organizational projects, errands, and family meal prep - bonus points if you can occasionally involve their daughter in meal prep/cooking! Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First aid certified
Safe and reliable vehicle
Covid and Flu vaccination preferred
