Schedule: M-F 7:00am – 6:00pm (mid-day break from approximately 11:00am-2:30pm)
Compensation: $28-32/h based on experience and the overall compensation package

A lively and welcoming family in Pittsford, NY, is seeking a highly organized and proactive nanny/household manager to care for their four boys, ages 8 to 12. Both parents are busy professionals and are looking for a provider who can take charge of the day-to-day family and household operations. These loving parents describe their boys as energetic and fun, each with their own distinct personalities. The ideal candidate will be able to handle both childcare and household management with ease, staying two steps ahead of the family’s needs at all times, and will be looking to grow with the family long-term.
The role involves managing the children’s daily routines, including ensuring the boys are ready for school in the morning, helping them complete breakfast, brush their teeth, and get dressed, as well as packing their backpacks. Once the children are off to school, a few hours will be dedicated to household management tasks before a midday break, typically from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM (approximately). This family trusts their provider to flex the mid-day hours and schedule as needed to complete all required tasks, while also allowing for a few hours off each day before the children return from school. Engaging the children in creative and educational activities during after-school hours—such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, learning activities, outings, and homework assistance—will be requested and appreciated. Additional responsibilities include meal prep for the children, child-related laundry, organizing their rooms, and tidying up common areas. A candidate who is open to meal prep for the family 1-2 times per week would be a bonus!
As a household manager, the provider will be expected to handle family errands, laundry, grocery shopping, light pet care for their three dogs and one cat, and manage the family calendar by scheduling appointments, coordinating travel plans, and keeping track of upcoming events. The family values someone who is comfortable with technology and can manage these tasks digitally. Light cleaning duties, such as tidying up kitchen dishes and maintaining the household, will also be part of your responsibilities. Requirements:
2+ years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First aid certified
2+ years of household management experience highly preferred
Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the family
